25 November 1936

On the evening of 25 November 1936, Baba’s message to the Associated Press was broadcast on the radio in a daily news bulletin from Delhi. The mandali at Meherabad heard it being broadcast, and Baba, too, was likely listening.

25 November 1940

Baba came to the women’s quarters at 5:30 A.M. on Monday, 25 November. He directed them to sing “Hari Paramatma” at 8:00 A.M. every morning and the “Tu Nirakar (You are Formless)” prayer every evening at 6:00 P.M.

25 November 1949

The second period of training will be spent at Benares from November 25 to December 10, comprising begging and langoti [life in loincloth].

25 November 1955

The entire Hindi group had departed, and preparations were underway for the incoming Marathi group. The number of this fourth and final group had increased to more than 200 men. Baba came to Meherabad on 25 November, and discussed with Pendu and other mandali about increasing arrangements for the sahavasis’ accommodations. In front of Baba’s cabin, an additional pandal was raised, in which Baba instructed Pendu to make room for some of the extra guests.
