Baba left Penugonda the next morning, Thursday, 22 January 1953, at 7:00 A.M., halting at Kapavaram Village, where he gave darshan. He arrived in Nidadavole at 8:30. This was Kutumba Sastri and Mallikarjuna’s hometown. Darshan had been arranged at the board high school, and about 5,000 attended. Baba was so quick in distributing prasad after the usual messages were read out and translated that by 9:50 A.M. he had completed everything.
